WHO-AM/Des Moines Names Emery Songer as Late Morning Host

WHO-AM (NewsRadio 1040) in Des Moines, IA names Emery Songer as its late morning host, launching the new show "Emory on Iowa," weekdays from 9-11am, effective immediately. The new program with Songer at the helm covers all things Iowa from border to border. The show will explore community events around the state, discuss current and political issues and highlight amazing feats in and around Iowa. It will also feature experts in a variety of industries and discuss current exploits by movers and shakers in the Hawkeye State.

Songer also airs from NewsRadio 1110 KFAB, weekdays from 3-7pm. Before moving to Omaha in 2023, he spent five years on News Radio 1040 WHO producing the morning show.
