Jimmy Malone Joins WNIR's 'Morning Buzz' in Akron

Former WMJI-FM/Cleveland co-host Jimmy Malone is set to join WNIR-FM in Akron, OH as a regular feature on the "Morning Buzz" starting January 6. Known for his sharp wit and engaging humor, Malone will appear every Monday in a segment aptly named "Malone Mondays," from 7-10am. The veteran Cleveland personality spent over two decades at WMJI alongside John Lanigan, where they led the "Lanigan and Malone Show."

His contributions to radio have been recognized with the prestigious NAB Marconi Award for Large Market Personality of the Year and an induction into the Ohio Association of Broadcasters (OAB) Broadcaster Hall of Fame.

At WNIR, Malone will join forces with current hosts Joyce Johnson and News Director Phil Ferguson.
