Guy Favazza, widely known as "Favazz," departs Hubbard Radio's Classic Rock KSHE 95 in St. Louis after more than three decades. His exit marks the end of a significant era at the station where he has been a prominent voice since joining in 1991. Over the years, Favazz has held various posts at KSHE 95, starting as a night host before moving to the afternoon slot in 1998. He also had stints as a morning co-host and midday host, eventually returning to afternoons last August.
His wife, Melody Favazza, shared on Facebook, "After 33+ years on the radio, my partner in life is closing the door on a remarkable career at the world's first FM Rock radio station, KSHE 95." She expressed pride in his impact on STL Radio and confidence in his resilience and creativity leading him to an exciting new chapter. Favazz, a Lindenwood University alumnus, has dedicated his entire radio career to KSHE 95, becoming one of the most recognized voices in St. Louis radio history.
