Salem Radio Network has announced that radio host Charlie Kirk will move to the stations currently carrying Dennis Prager's show. The change, effective from Monday, March 31, comes after Dennis Prager sustained a spinal cord injury last November.

Charlie Kirk, who has been broadcasting during the same Noon to 3pm ET slot as Prager since October 2020, is set to take over the broader network of stations. Kirk's show currently reaches 195 stations, with a total of 500 affiliates nationwide. "Since both Charlie and Dennis have aired live in the Noon to 3pm ET daypart, it will be an easy transition for most stations," a spokesperson for Salem stated.

Dennis Prager, who has been with Salem Radio Network for over 25 years, suffered his injury at home and has since been undergoing extensive rehabilitation. While recovering, Prager will return to the airwaves in a limited capacity, hosting an hour daily from 2-3pm ET starting Tuesday, June 3.

Phil Boyce, Salem's Senior VP of Spoken Word, expressed his support for Prager, saying, "Dennis may have some physical limitations at the moment, but his wit, wisdom, insights and passion are as strong and as clear as ever and we are delighted at his spirit and resolve to return to his audience." Boyce emphasized the network's desire for Prager to remain a part of the Salem family and for his millions of loyal fans to continue enjoying his broadcasts.

Until Dennis Prager resumes his duties, Jack Posobiec will act as the substitute host. Known for his significant podcast following, with over 3.1 million followers on X, Posobiec will cover the third hour for both Kirk and Prager affiliates. Upon his return, Prager will continue to delve into the day's top issues and drive discussions on his popular segments "The Happiness Hour" and "The Male Female Hour."

Prager's longstanding career began at KABC in Los Angeles, and he has authored more than ten books. Alongside his producer Allen Estrin, Prager founded PragerU in 2009, which now achieves over one billion downloads annually, focusing on educational content often overlooked in traditional schooling.
