iHeartMedia's 106.7 WLLZ (Detroit's Wheels) announced today that The Josh Innes Show will return to the station's weekday morning lineup beginning Monday, July 28. The program will air live weekdays from 6-10am. Innes is no stranger to Detroit listeners, having previously hosted mornings on WLLZ from April 2021 to February 2023.

During his previous run at WLLZ, he was based at iHeart's WNRQ (105.9 The Rock)/Nashville, with his show also syndicated to WEGR (102.7 Kiss FM)/Memphis. Now, Innes returns to Motor City mornings following a stint in afternoon drive at Hubbard Radio's Classic Rock KSHE (94.7)/St. Louis.

"Josh is the perfect morning host for WLLZ," said Program Director Casey Krukowski. "His infectious energy, deep passion for rock music, and genuine connection with listeners make him a natural fit. I'm confident Detroit will embrace this show."

"I can't wait to have some fun waking up Detroit every morning," said Innes. "I look forward to being part of what's going to be an amazing success story."

A radio veteran known for his outspoken personality and wide-ranging commentary on sports, pop culture, and local issues, Innes previously served as an afternoon host on ESPN 97.5 92.5 in Houston, and held prominent roles at iHeartMedia's SportsTalk 790 in Houston and WIP-AM in Philadelphia.
