WUSJ Jackson Welcomes Gordo & Hannah Lane to Wakeups

Jackson Country outlet WUSJ has announced a new morning team, with Gordo and Hannah Lane set to debut in mid-October. The change comes after longtime morning host Nate stepped away from radio earlier this month, retiring after three decades in the Jackson market. His final show with Traci Lee and Hannah Lane aired September 12.

Program Director Traci Lee, who has handled mornings herself for nearly 13 years, said the transition marks a new chapter. "I'm so excited to have a fresh new start to the mornings," Lee said. "Hannah Lane is going to slide up to second chair and I know she and Gordo are going to make magic."

Lee also noted the team will have some lighthearted challenges to work through. "We are thrilled to have him join us, but he's an Ohio State fan so we'll be in constant prayer about his conversion to the SEC," she joked.
