WNCY (Y100) Appleton-Green Bay has named Natalie "Nat" Gross as the new co-host of the Y100 Morning Show, stepping into the role previously held by longtime morning talent Charli McKenzie. Gross brings more than ten years of experience, including an award-winning journalism career, successful podcasting projects, and most recently, morning host duties at Life 102.5 in Madison.
Originally from Virginia, Gross moved to Wisconsin with her family in 2023 and says she's embraced life in the Midwest quickly. "I haven't mastered the 'Midwest goodbye' just yet," she joked, "but the accent has definitely found its way into my vocabulary."
Gross will join veteran Y100 morning personality Randy "Shotgun" Shannon, who recently took on added responsibilities as Y100 Brand Manager. Together, the pair will launch a refreshed morning show focused on energy, authenticity, and deeper local connection.
"Listeners are going to love Nat," said Shannon. "She brings warmth, humor, and a storyteller's instinct that fits perfectly with what makes Y100 special. I can't wait for everyone to hear what we're building together."
Her first week on the Y100 Morning Show begins December 1.
