Steve Davis Returns to Middays on Y100 Green Bay

Longtime Green Bay air personality Steve Davis is back on the radio, joining country outlet WNCY-FM (Y100) for the noon to 2pm weekday slot. The move, effective December 1, brings Davis back to the country format where he launched his career in 1993 at WGEE-FM (99 Country), a predecessor to Y100 under Midwest Communications.
The move also comes nearly a year after his 25-year run at WQLH-FM (Star 98) ended when he and morning co-host Susan Kennedy were let go as part of nationwide layoffs at Cumulus Media.
After a year away from the studio, Davis joked that he's about to find out whether being on the radio is like riding a bike. "Man, I hope so," he laughed, saying he's even had dreams about getting back behind the mic.
