WFAN New York will introduce a refreshed weekday programming schedule on January 5, headlined by the return of longtime host Craig Carton. Carton will anchor "The Carton Show" alongside Chris McMonigle, marking his first daily program on the station since 2023.

The overhaul includes a new midday program, "Evan & Tiki," pairing Evan Roberts, Tiki Barber and Shaun Morash. Executive producer Tommy Lugauer will also step into a larger on-air role, hosting a new evening show titled "After Hours."

"Craig Carton's return reaffirms WFAN's position as New York's premier sports destination for big personalities, compelling conversation and highly engaging content," said Chris Oliviero, Chief Business Officer and New York Market President for Audacy. "Our 2026 lineup has familiar marquee voices all day and all night, guaranteeing that whenever you tune into The Fan, you will be smack dab in the middle of the New York sports culture."

Carton, who previously co-hosted "Carton & Roberts" and the long-running "Boomer and Carton," said the station remains special to him. "WFAN has always been home to me," he said. "Having the opportunity to return and rejoin the best sports talk station in the world is an opportunity I am eagerly looking forward to and beyond excited for."

Since leaving full-time hosting at WFAN, Carton has helmed "The Carton Show" and "Breakfast Ball" on FS1 and continued his podcast, "The Craig Carton Show," through FOX/Red Seat Ventures. His broadcasting career has spanned major markets including Buffalo, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Denver and New York.

Carton also hosts the weekend program "Hello, My Name Is Craig," centered on responsible gambling, and serves as a responsible gaming ambassador for FanDuel. He was inducted into the New York State Broadcasters Hall of Fame in 2024.
