Natalie "Nat" Jones is exiting Hubbard Radio Hot AC WKRQ (Q102) Cincinnati, departing the station's Roy, Nat & Freddy Mac afternoon show following Friday's broadcast. A Cincinnati native, Jones joined WKRQ in 2017, initially teaming with Jon Curl in afternoons until his exit in 2020. Mac joined the show later that year, with Roy Brown added in December 2022. Prior to WKRQ, Jones worked in film and toured as a stand-up comedian.
Addressing listeners on-air, Jones said the decision followed extensive personal reflection and was driven by instinct rather than a move to another job. She confirmed she does not have a next position lined up, noting that December 12 marks her final day on the show. Jones plans to spend the next month traveling, while remaining based in Cincinnati. She said she will continue working locally as a DJ, hosting bingo and other microphone-based events, and taking ski trips, with future plans to be shared once finalized.
In a post on Facebook, Jones thanked listeners and the Cincinnati community for their support over the past eight years, calling her time at WKRQ a journey filled with "community, laughs, support, amazing opportunities, and above all: love." She emphasized that she is not leaving Cincinnati and expects to remain active around town through DJ work, hosting, and other on-air appearances as she determines her next chapter.
