Allen Sliwa Joins Schaeffer for Sports 760 Afternoons

KGB-AM (Sports 760) San Diego has named Allen Sliwa as co-host alongside Jon Schaeffer for the weekday afternoon program "Schaeffer and Sliwa," effective immediately. The show will air weekdays from 3-6pm.

Sliwa, a San Diego native and graduate of San Diego State University, returns to his home market following his work on the Los Angeles Lakers Radio Network. He joins Schaeffer, the radio voice of San Diego State football and basketball, who has been part of the station's afternoon lineup since 2017.

The new pairing is expected to focus on major sports topics in San Diego and beyond, combining analysis, commentary and discussion geared toward local listeners.

Program Director Mary Ayala said Sliwa's experience and connection with audiences make him a strong addition, noting that the new co-host team is positioned to deliver a leading sports talk show in the market.

Sliwa said he looks forward to returning to San Diego and contributing to the local sports conversation, while building on the foundation Schaeffer has established.
