Syndicated weekend talk program "RightLine with Drew Steele" has expanded its national reach with the addition of two new affiliates, WDBO in Orlando, FL and WHIO in Dayton, OH. The live weekend program, which airs Saturdays from 4-6pm ET, is an extension of Steele's Florida's Voice News Radio show and focuses on breaking news, politics, and conservative commentary.
According to the network, the expansion is designed to provide listeners with live weekend coverage of developing stories at a time when many stations rely on recorded or less topical programming.
"Our national footprint is growing, and joining these great radio stations is truly humbling," Steele said. "With so much breaking news over the weekends, we knew we had to go live. I am genuinely grateful for the chance to join this conversation coast to coast. A sincere thank you to our new station partners for the warm welcome -- we are ready to listen, connect, and serve these communities nationwide."
The program combines news analysis, interviews, and commentary, positioning itself as an alternative for audiences seeking real-time discussion of current events and national issues.
Pete Spriggs of PHP Spriggs Consulting praised the show's live format, noting that few weekend programs provide immediate reaction to breaking news.
"Drew brings his winning, entertaining commentary LIVE to the weekend-when no one else is doing topical content on breaking news," Spriggs said. "Your audience will love it!"
