Taking on the opening session is Chris Lytle of Instant Sales Training and the author of "The Accidental Salesperson" and "The Accidental Sales Manager." Over the ten days they are joined by more broadcasters from iHeartMedia, SummitMedia and others, including a visit to the Cumulus studios in Nashville for a tour and to learn from sports broadcasters, and next Friday, Alpha Media's Ben Davis and Kelly K Show from WDJX/Louisville will be broadcasting live from the Institute with the students as the live studio audience.
The students will be certified as RAB Radio Marketing Professionals by the RAB. Bud Walters, President of the Cromwell Radio Group Nashville, will be doing the closing session.
"We can't stand on the sidelines wondering where the next generation of broadcasters will come from. We have to be proactive and intentional in our efforts to assist students on their journey into broadcasting, culminating with job placement," said Winkle.
