iHeartMedia's KPWK-AM (FOX Sports AM 1350)/Riverside inks a new broadcast agreement with the California Baptist University (CBU) Athletics Department, effective through the 2019-2021 athletic seasons. Under the deal, FOX Sports AM 1350 will serve as the official flagship station for the Lancers, CBU's men's basketball games throughout the 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons.

The station will air all regular season games -- home and away -- as well as potential postseason games, live and in their entirety. Each broadcast will feature pre-game, halftime and post-game shows with interviews and features.

"This is an exciting opportunity for our fans to follow our men's basketball team," said California Baptist University Athletics Department Athletic Director Dr. Micah Parker. "Our agreement with iHeartMedia Riverside is an important step forward as we expand the broadcast options available to our fans in the Inland Empire and beyond. This will also create additional advertising opportunities for our sponsors."

"We are very excited to be working with the CBU's basketball program, as they grow into a strong D1 team," added iHeartMedia Riverside-San Bernardino Senior VP/Sales Dean Canter. "We are happy to be on the ground floor as they grow and to share exclusive interviews and content with our listeners. Putting the CBU Lancers on FOX Sports AM 1350 AM allows the Inland Empire community to have full access to this emerging team anywhere they are."

CBU Athletics has begun an employee search for a play-by-play commentator. Potential candidates interested in applying for the opportunity should contact Mike Minyard, Associate Athletics Director for External Relations, at mminyard@calbaptist.edu for more information.
