Midwest Communications Sports WNFL-AM (1440) and W270AJ (101.9)/Green Bay plans to replace its current daytime lineup -- containing FOX Sports Radio shows -- after signing a deal with iHeartMedia Sports WRNW-FM (97.3 The Game)/Milwaukee. It will simulcast 12 hours of WRNW's programming, effective June 22. WNFL has been a staple on the dial in Northeast Wisconsin since 1967.
The new weekday line-up includes The Steve Czaban Show (6-9am), Green Bay legend John Kuhn along with Brian Butch (9am-noon), Ted Davis (voice of the Milwaukee Bucks) and Dario Melendez (noon-3pm), Drew & K.B. (3-6pm) and FOX Sports Radio (6pm-6am).
"We've signed a deal with Milwaukee's 'The Game' and have picked up 12 hours of their amazing Wisconsin-focused programming each weekday. We're excited about this line-up, and we're excited about the future of this radio station," said Midwest Communications Operations Manager Jason Hillery.
"We are beyond thrilled to bring the daily GAME lineup to a station as historic as WNFL," added 97.3 The Game Program Director Tim Scott. "Steve Czaban, John Kuhn, Brian Butch, Ted Davis, Dario Melendez, Drew and KB all voices Wisconsin sports fans know and now will get to hear every day."
The WNFL studios will become the home to John Kuhn's "Nine 2 Noon" program.
