The Game Sports Network Expands To WRIG/Wausau WI

Duke Wright's Midwest Communications inks an agreement with iHeartMedia to bring the Game Sports Network to WRIG-AM & FM/Wausau, WI. The network originates from iHM flagship on 97.9 FM in Milwaukee. The network is heard in full on WNFL-AM & FM/Green Bay, WDUL-AM Duluth and now WRIG. All properties are owned and operated by Midwest Communications.
"WRIG listeners are very passionate about their Wisconsin sports," said WRIG Brand Manager Ken Clark. "We're excited for the opportunity to connect them to news and talk about the Packers, Badgers, Brewers and Bucks all day long. Our hosts are familiar names and we're excited about this opportunity."

The Game Sports Network focuses on All Sports Wisconsin. The 12-hour lineup (6am-6pm) consists of the "Steve Czaban Show" in the morning, followed by 9-Noon with John Kuhn, former Packer fullback and fan favorite accompanied by former Wisconsin Badger basketball great Brian Butch. The long time play-by-play voice of the Milwaukee Bucks Ted Davis hosts the "Crossover" from Noon-3pm and the day wraps up with the "Time Out Sports Lounge featuring Drew and KB" from 3-6pm.
