El Dorado Broadcasters Expands its Sales Staff in Yuma
RADIO ONLINE | Thursday, May 27, 2021 |
El Dorado Broadcasters, owners of stations in Yuma, AZ, hires Katherine Cearns to join its sales department. Cearns is returning to Arizona after many years in Colorado. Her first day will be June 1. While new to the broadcast business, Cearns has a strong background in customer relations and communication.
"As we expand as a company, we are looking for people who have the capacity to communicate real value to our business customers," said El Dorado Broadcasters/Yuma Director of Sales Ricky Mitchell. "Katherine's persistence, follow up and follow through will help her stand out in our marketplace."
"We see many broadcasters going in the opposite direction. They are reducing head count in favor of technology or worse, reducing head count and doing nothing," added El Dorado Broadcasters Executive Vice President Chris Fleming. "We are in a very different position. We have the ability to find talent, recruit it, and retain it."
