David Wendt Rises to WILN (Island 106)/Panama City PD

David Wendt

David Wendt (aka DJ No Sleep) is elevated to Program Director for Magic Broadcasting CHR WILN-FM (Magic 106)/Panama City, FL. He replaces former PD Tiffany Tryhall, who recently resigned. With the promotion, Wendt returns to afternoons after spending two years in nights. Prior to WILN, Wendt handled middays at the former WYPW (Power 95.7)/South Bend, IN. He's also aired in afternoons at the former WDZH (98.7 AMP Radio)/Detroit and aired in nights at WJQM (93.1 Jamz)/Madison, WI.

Wendt said, "It's been a great five years in Panama City and I'm both grateful for the trust bestowed in me by my co-GMs Karla Melvin and Jon Jopling, and excited to bring new energy to Island 106."

Concurrently, Eddie "RBG" Key will become Program Director for co-owned Rock WYYX (97X) and is moving to mornings, while Country WWLY (Wild Willie 100.1) named Jason Taylor as its PD and afternoon host. Additionally, Brian Rust will assume PD duties for News/Talk WYOO-FM.
