Hannah Berner Strikes Deal with Acast for Podcast

Comedian Hannah Berner has partnered with Acast to manage the distribution, sales and growth of her podcast "Berning In Hell." The series, which uses comedy to prompt candid conversations about mental health and wellness, features public figures peeling back their public persona and divulging their inner demons. Under the partnership, "Berning In Hell" will join the Acast Creator Network.

"I started 'Berning In Hell' as a way to use comedy to normalize conversations about mental health -- and the response I've gotten from listeners all over the world has been amazing," said Berner. "After building the podcast on my own for three years, I'm so honored that Acast believes in it as much as I do. I can't wait to work with the Acast team to take the podcast to new heights."

A stand-up comic, content creator, and media personality, Berner is known for her relatable material covering modern culture, women's experiences, dating, relationships and more. Following her own experiences with anxiety and depression, she launched "Berning In Hell" in November, 2018 to create an open forum for fellow comedians, celebrities, entrepreneurs, and public figures to have deep, honest discussions about mental health.

Acast Creator Network Director, Americas Tiffany Ashitey said, "Hannah's podcasts resonate so strongly with audiences because she expertly uses comedy and everyday moments to shed light on our shared experiences navigating through life. Welcoming Berning In Hell to our network is especially exciting for us because it's a marker of our team's hard work and success over the past two years growing her other podcast, Giggly Squad. Our mission is to be the go-to partner for all creators who, like Hannah, are looking to take their podcast business to the next level."
