Quu Inc., a company providing visual content for radio, appoints veteran radio execs Pete Benedetti and Lori Olsen to the Quu team. Benedetti is named Executive VP of Revenue leading revenue generation, while Olsen is Quu's Administrative and Contracts Manager. These new roles report directly to Quu's CEO Steve Newberry.
Benedetti is a longtime radio executive with experience acquiring, owning and integrating radio outlets in all market sizes, from top 20 to unrated. He's operated more than 118 stations. Benedetti is also a NAB and CBA board member, and Founder and CEO of AlwaysMountainTime, where Benedetti will continue to be CEO, while Krista Benedetti has been promoted to President and will now oversee day-to-day operations for the media company.
"For over thirty years, radio has been my life's work. As we move forward, I look forward to collaborating with the best and brightest minds in the business to drive revenue and standardize dashboard display," said Benedetti. "In this undeniable time of change, Quu is the industry solution for radio's automotive challenge."
Olsen will manage Quu's business relationships with its 1000+ clients. As a member of the frontline service team, she will ensure Quu continues to provide world-class customer service to its clients. Quu says Olsen's contract management experience in the broadcast industry is a "tremendous" benefit as the company experiences rapid growth.
"I'm thrilled to help Quu inspire positive change for the industry I've worked in for 21 years," said Olsen. "Quu's goal, and my focus, is to guide our partners every step of the way, working together to make the screenification of radio a success."
"Pete is a successful executive with over 22 years of CEO and President level experience; I have respected his talents immensely for decades," added Newberry. "As a station owner, I've worked with Lori numerous times over the years and was always so impressed with her professionalism and personal touch with customer service. I'm grateful Pete and Lori are bringing their considerable talents and industry expertise to the Quu team."
