Sadie Black is appointed Music Director of Active Rock WYBB-FM (98 Rock) and AAA WCOO-FM (105.5 The Bridge) in Charleston, SC, effective May 31. She'll also air in middays on WYBB. Black joins the LM Communications cluster from Golden Isle Broadcasting in South Georgia, where she handled middays on both Hot AC WXMK (Magic 105.9) and Country WRJY (104.1 The Wave). Previously, Black was with Alpha Media as APD at WFMX, WKRQ-FM-HD2 and WPCO in Columbia, SC.

LM Charleston OM and WYBB-WCOO Brand Manager Bryan Schock said, "I began the search to fill this position more than a year ago, and Sadie was the first person that I spoke with. Unfortunately, she wasn't available at that time. Between then and now there were a few other hiring possibilities that didn't end up working out, and now I know why. I'm thrilled to welcome SADIE to the team."

Black commented, "As much as I'll miss the Golden Isles and my GIB family, I'm thrilled to come home to South Carolina, especially to the Charleston area. I am so excited to join Bryan and the team at 98 Rock and 105.5 The Bridge. I truly missed working on Rock and Triple A formats, and this opportunity feels like the perfect fit."

LM Communications GM Rick Carmean said, "Sadie Black is a great addition to our team. We are all about being local. With Sadie'S experience and her love for Rock and Roll, we believe she will have a huge impact in Charleston."
