iHeartMedia Atlanta Market President Drew Lauter is out after being caught on video that appears to show him using racial slurs, reports WSB-TV. The TV outlet says the video shows Lauter riding in a SUV with two other iHeart employees and appearing to repeatedly use the "n-word."
iHeartMedia confirmed to Channel 2 Investigative Reporter Ashli Lincoln that Lauter is no longer employed by the company. A spokesperson for iHeartMedia told WSB, "allegations of this nature go against our company values and our policies and we take them very seriously."
Previous to Atlanta, Lauter was Market President for the company's Madison, WI group. Before that he worked for companies such as Sony, Lucent, Qello Concerts and Qello Media.
