FOX Sports Radio's Rob Parker, host of the syndicated weekday program "The Odd Couple with Chris Broussard & Rob Parker" and founder/editor-in-chief of MLBbro.com, has announced the launch of "The MLBbro Show Podcast -- The Mixtape." The program is an extension of MLBbro.com, a website produced in partnership with Major League Baseball to chronicle the paths of Black and brown professional baseball players from the past and present.

Hosted by MLBbro.com's Vice President of Operations JR Gamble, who has covered Major League Baseball for more than two decades and makes regular appearances on "The Odd Couple," the weekly podcast will spotlight Black and brown major leaguers with commentary, player interviews and analysis. Parker, along with MLBbro.com editors and writers David Grubb, Mark Gray, Christian Crittenden and Justin Petrille, will also contribute to the podcast.

Launching just in time for baseball season, "The MLBbro Show Podcast -- The Mixtape" will debut March 31 as part of FOX Sports Radio's network of podcasts, which also includes "Inside the (Rob) Parker Podcast," a baseball themed podcast. Future episodes will be published on Fridays.

"I'm thrilled to be a part of this groundbreaking project -- this sound has never been heard before in connection with Major League Baseball," said Parker, who has been a Baseball Writers' Association of America (BBWAA) member since 1990. "It's baseball coverage with hot sauce, loud and proud and in living color. Get on board from day one."

"Black baseball has a culture, a feel and a presentation that captures its entire history, the struggles and the triumphs," shared Gamble. "This mixtape is the soundtrack to the experiences of MLB's 7.2 percent Black and brown players -- a reminder of how prominently they figure in baseball's story and also how impactful these players are in shaping the game today."
