KRLD/Dallas Contemporizes Sonic Identity with TM Studios

TM Studios is creating a modern, positive sound for KRLD (NewsTalk Radio 1080) in Dallas-Fort Worth. The goal at KRLD was to create a sound that fit the legendary brand, while modernizing the sound to attract new listeners. KRLD Vice President, News & Talk and Brand Manager Drew Anderssen reached out to TM to tackle the job of a rebrand for 2024 and into the future, which called for no cliches in arrangements, instrumentation or approach.

Anderson said, "We had a great collaboration with Greg and the team at TM Studios as we worked to design a more contemporary, vibrant, and positive presentation. This wasn't a bombastic change for our audience; rather, the TM team helped NewsRadio 1080 KRLD design something that fit its history while evolving to better reflect the target audience."
