Media Staffing Network Welcomes New Owner Lisa Fields
RADIO ONLINE | Tuesday, January 23, 2024 |
Media Staffing Network (MSN) announces its new owner Lisa Fields. The broadcasting vet comes to Media Staffing Network with a career in media. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President & General Manager of Broadcast1Source, a compliance software solution specializing in the radio and television industries. Over the course of 16 years at Broadcast1Source, Fields drove growth, revenue generation, product development and successful marketing initiatives. Notably, she implemented an API-based compliance solution that seamlessly integrates with the FCC's reporting database.
Before her tenure at Broadcast1Source, Fields spent 15 years at Clear Channel Radio, where she held various roles, including General Sales Manager, Director of New Business, Regional Marketing Director and Marketing Director.
Field's ownership of Media Staffing Network is rooted in her friendship with Laurie Kahn, the previous owner of the company, who sadly died last year. Fields and Kahn shared a friendship that spanned more than 15 years, and it was this close bond that led Kahn to handpick Fields as her successor.
Retiring MSN VP/GM Patty Kincaid said, "Lisa's ability to wrap her head and arms around this company and create ideas and innovation for the future allowed me to make a change. She brings energy and emotional intelligence to Media Staffing Network. Respecting history and legacy while creating a vision for the future is exactly what is needed as MSN moves into its 4th decade of service to the media industry."
Fields commented, "I am deeply honored and humbled to follow in Laurie's footsteps. She built an incredible business that has touched countless lives in the media industry. I am committed to preserving and expanding upon her legacy by providing top-notch staffing solutions and unparalleled service to our clients and candidates."
