WHQG (102.9 The Hog) returns to Potawatomi Casino Hotel for the 12th annual Baconfest Milwaukee. The annual affair is a celebration of "all things bacon" with presenting sponsors, Farmland and Patrick Cudahy, providing 900 pounds of delicious bacon. Thousands of participants will sample incredible bacon creations from over 30 restaurants and establishments in the greater-Milwaukee area. There will also be guest appearances from 102.9 The Hog personalities Bob & Brian, Mindy Novotny and Borna & Mandy.

102.9 The Hog's Baconfest Milwaukee is an official qualifying event of the World Food Championships. Select restaurants will compete to earn a "Golden Ticket" to participate in the Bacon World Food Championship in November -- where the winner takes home $100,000. All Attendees also receive a Limited Edition Baconfest 2024 Mug, and $20 Potawatomi Casino Hotel Fire Keeper's Club Reward Play (and increase from $15 in year's past). Plus all VIP ticket holders will receive a free beer from Old German Beer Hall.
