YHN Network Anchor J. Holland Retiring After 50 years

Alabama broadcaster J. Holland is set to retire after 50 years in the industry. He began his career in 1973 at WTTI-AM in his hometown of Dalton, GA. Since 1974 he's worked on stations across Alabama. Stops included WLJS-FM, WQEN-FM, WGAD-AM, WGSV-AM, WAAX-AM, WERC-AM, WVNN-AM, WKLS-FM, WHMA-AM & FM, WKXX-FM, WJBY-AM and WELR-FM, among others.
Holland made the switch from music to talk in the 1990's at WAAX-AM in Gadsden. In the 2000s he took his talk show to WVNN-AM Huntsville, then WERC-AM in Birmingham. Since 2015 Holland has been the afternoon news anchor on the YHN Network which can be heard on more than 25 stations across Alabama.
