Cumulus Makes Multiple Promotions in Louisiana Markets

Cumulus Media promotes Jerold Jackson to Operations Manager for its cluster in Baton Rouge. Jackson, who has programmed stations for the company in various markets for over 20 years, also adds stripes as the new Program Director of Urban AC KMEZ-FM and Gospel KKND-FM (Heaven 106.7) in New Orleans. He will continue in his role as Program Director of Urban KNEK-FM (Magic 104.7) and Urban KRRQ-FM (Q95.5) in Lafayette, LA, a position he has held since 2015.

The company also appoints a new support team in Baton Rouge that includes the promotions of LaTangela Sherman to Assistant Program Director for the cluster there, and Glen Roberson to Music Director of Urban AC KQXL-FM (Q106.5) in Baton Rouge and Urban AC KMEZ-FM in New Orleans. In addition, the company has promoted Vincent Thomas to Assistant Program Director of Urban KNEK-FM (Magic 104.7) and Urban KRRQ-FM (Q95.5) in Lafayette.

Cumulus New Orleans-Baton Rouge-Lafayette-Columbus-Starkville Regional VP/Market Manager Pat Galloway said, "These appointments reflect our company values of promoting from within.
