UCB Radio has celebrated a milestone achievement with the success of its Fall fundraiser, which concluded early on Friday, October 11. The event, which ran from October 8 to 11, wrapped up by 1pm ET Friday, surpassing all previous records for the station. The fundraising event garnered widespread support from UCB listeners, exceeding the station's goals and expectations.

Bill Scott and his team from Vidare Creative played a pivotal role in the execution of the fundraiser, helping the UCB team navigate common technical challenges associated with live events.

"Fundraisers of this scale always come with hurdles, and as many in radio know, unexpected issues are almost guaranteed," said UCB Radio Director of Development & Marketing Liz Latchford. "This year was no exception, but with the resilience of our team and the dedication of our listeners, we stayed focused on our goal-spreading hope across Canada."

While UCB Radio worked to identify what led to this historic result, the station attributed the success to its supportive audience and a sense of divine intervention.

"We're incredibly grateful for the generosity of our listeners," Latchford added. "This year's fundraiser surpassed our expectations and shows how deeply people care about bringing hope and encouragement to others."

UCB Radio continues its mission of sharing faith and uplifting messages across Canada, and the success of this year's fundraiser highlights the power of community in driving positive change.
