Cox Media Group/Atlanta's Jaleigh Long Resigns as VP/MM

Cox Media Group/Atlanta-Athens Vice President and Market Manager Jaleigh Long has announced her resignation. Long revealed her decision during an unscheduled meeting on Thursday, November 7, with her departure taking effect the following day, according to a report by Georgia Wavelengths.

Long's career in broadcasting spans more than two decades. She began as an Account Executive with Susquehanna Radio in Indianapolis before moving to South Central Media in Evansville, IN where she served as General Sales Manager for seven years. In 2014, Long joined Cox Media Group Atlanta as General Sales Manager, advancing to Director of Sales in 2017. She was promoted to VP/Market Manager in April, 2021 after holding the post in an interim capacity.

Reflecting on her career, Long expressed gratitude for her time in the industry, including 11 years with CMG. She extended thanks to CMG's Executive Vice President of Radio Rob Babin and praised her team for their dedication and collaboration.

Long's future plans include spending more time with her family, including her husband and their two children, while remaining in Atlanta.
