Rowdy Yates, known for his engaging on-air personality and dedication to Country radio, is continuing his tradition of giving back this holiday season with two specially curated programs, free of charge for stations.
As a teenager, Yates assisted his father, celebrated radio news journalist Joe Holstead, as "the world's tallest elf" during Santa Claus appearances at local malls. Today, his spirit of giving takes the form of festive radio programming, offering stations unique holiday content without inventory requirements.
"A Really Rowdy Christmas," a five-hour program, blends holiday standards, country Christmas classics, and playful songs, creating a perfect soundtrack for the season. It also includes greetings from radio personalities nationwide and heartfelt messages from members of the military stationed abroad, adding a personal and patriotic touch.
"A Lone Star Christmas," for a Texas-inspired celebration, Yates offers this one-hour special featuring iconic Texas artists such as George Strait, Clint Black, Clay Walker, and Johnny Mathis, alongside favorites like Pat Green and Kevin Fowler. Designed to highlight the unique charm of a Texas Christmas, this program is suitable for stations in any state.
Both specials are available for immediate digital download, allowing stations to integrate them seamlessly into their holiday programming. Stations interested in broadcasting these specials can contact Rowdy Yates directly here.
