For 24 years, The Johnjay and Rich Show has been spreading holiday cheer to families in need through its nonprofit #LOVEUP Foundation. This holiday season, the Premiere Networks-syndicated program delivered a heartwarming Christmas wish to Dawn, a mother of five who is a registered nurse, community volunteer and stage 4 cancer warrior.

On Friday, December 6, the show surprised Dawn and her family with a festive holiday celebration. The gifts included a fully decorated Christmas tree, presents for all five children, clothing, groceries, and a $500 college scholarship for each of her 18-year-old twins, courtesy of the Miss Arizona Scholarship Foundation.

"Truth is, we can be on the naughty list most of the year, but we try to make up for it and give back through #LOVEUP," said Rich Berra, co-host of the show. He added that the emotional moment comes with a "mascara alert" for listeners.

Johnjay Van Es, the show's other co-host, emphasized their commitment to giving back. "We are about giving...We are givers...We are the most givey givers on the radio," he said.

The #LOVEUP Foundation will continue granting Christmas wishes throughout the holiday season, bringing joy to families in the program's affiliated cities up until Christmas Eve.
