Rick & Bubba Show Signs Off After a 30-Year Run

The syndicated "Rick & Bubba Show" officially ended its long-standing broadcast after 30 years, with co-hosts Rick Burgess and Bill "Bubba" Bussey signing off for the last time on Friday morning. As they move on, both hosts are exploring new opportunities in broadcasting and other areas, set to begin in 2025.
The final show was filled with poignant moments, including a special appearance by Bussey's children, Hunter and Katelyn, who shared insights into their lives growing up under the media spotlight. The show, which was broadcast from SummitMedia's WZZK-FM in Birmingham, aired over 8,000 episodes.
Throughout its tenure, the show cultivated a loyal audience, broadcasting to more than 60 stations across 18 states in the Southeastern U.S.
