His career includes pivotal roles such as the Chief Investment Officer at Morgan Stanley, where he significantly influenced investment strategies. Beyond his corporate achievements, Galbraith's academic involvement includes a stint as an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University Business School, where he taught securities analysis from 1998 to 2008.

His advisory role at the Office of Financial Research following the Dodd-Frank Act illustrates his commitment to enhancing financial stability and transparency in the U.S. financial system.
