Cumulus Appoints Cody Welling as RVP/MM for Flint & Saginaw

Cumulus Media names Cody Welling as Regional Vice President and Market Manager for its clusters in Flint and Saginaw, MI. This marks a return to the company for Welling, who was previously Vice President and Market Manager for its five stations in Shreveport and Bossier City, LA, and most recently, was Station Manager and Director of Sales for Sports/Talk WBNS (97.1 The Fan) in Columbus and the Ohio News Network.
Prior to that, Welling was Director of Sales for Cox Media Group in Tulsa. He steps into the role previously held by Chris Monk, who retires from radio at the end of January.
