Steve McKay, the Brand Manager for Townsquare Media's WOBM in Monmouth-Ocean and WFPG in Atlantic City has left his position. McKay, a 24-year programming vet, previously held roles as PD at Cumulus AC WTCB-FM (B106.7) and Classic Hits WOMG-FM in Columbia, SC. He moved to Columbia in 2018 after serving as the Program Director for WGNI-FM and Classic Rock WKXS-FM (94.5 The Hawk) in Wilmington, NC.

McKay's earlier career includes stints as Program Director at WPTE-FM in Norfolk, WBHT-FM in Scranton, PA, and WEJM-FM in Philadelphia. McKay is also known for his work as an air personality, including broadcasts on WJRZ-FM at the Jersey Shore.

Regarding his departure, McKay cited budget cuts as the reason and expressed his surprise, stating, "During my tenure, both stations saw significant growth. I was truly shocked by this development. Not sure what my next move is, but I'm available and ready to discuss new opportunities."
