95.5 WSB (WSB-AM & WSBB-FM) will host its 25th annual Care-a-Thon on July 24 and 25 to benefit the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. The two-day fundraising event will spotlight inspiring stories from patients and families across Georgia while supporting essential services, research, and training at the Center.

Hosted by WSB's Scott Slade, Clark Howard, Eric Von Haessler, Chris Chandler, Mark Arum, Erick Erickson, Shelley Wynter and others from the station's on-air team, the marathon broadcast aims to build on the more than $34 million raised since the event began in 2001.

The Care-a-Thon will also feature appearances from high-profile guests, including Home Depot co-founder Arthur Blank, comedian Jeff Foxworthy, Aflac CEO Dan Amos, Governor Brian Kemp, Senators Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock, and baseball Hall of Famer John Smoltz.

Listeners can contribute by donating or bidding on exclusive experiences, that will include a comedy night with Jeff Foxworthy and WSB talent at The Punchline Comedy Club and a live broadcast of The Mark Arum Show hosted from the winner's home.

Scott Slade, who helped launch the Care-a-Thon, reflected on its beginnings: "When I first saw the work going on at the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center... I knew that if we could tell the stories of these heroic patients, their families and their brilliant caregivers, our listeners would respond."

Dr. Douglas Graham, Chief of the Aflac Center, added, "We are grateful for the support of WSB listeners, whose dedication over the past 25 years has helped fund lifesaving therapies for our patients."

Listeners can tune in on 95.5 FM, 750 AM, WSBRadio.com, or the WSB Radio app. Donations can be made at wsbradio.com/careathon.
