Inferno Radio, the Southwest Florida-based digital streaming platform known for its programming and community engagement, has announced it is ceasing operations under its current brand effective immediately. The abrupt shutdown comes in the wake of undisclosed internal issues, which the company says no longer align with its founding values.
While details remain confidential due to legal constraints, Inferno Radio's leadership cited the need to protect the safety, integrity, and long-term vision of the organization and its employees.
"Inferno Radio was built to be bold, creative, and community focused," said spokesperson Trish Ray. "Although we are stepping away from the current brand, the mission remains. This is not the end. It is a necessary reset."
The company expressed gratitude to the artists, advertisers, and listeners who have supported the platform throughout its run. While Inferno Radio as it's currently known is going dark, the team signaled that plans are underway for a new chapter.
