iHeartMedia is partnering with Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C) to broadcast the organization's ninth biennial one-hour special, airing live and commercial-free on Friday, August 15, at 8pm ET/PT. For the first time, iHeart will deliver the event to a nationwide radio audience via a dedicated audio-only stream across all iHeartCountry broadcast stations and the iHeartRadio app.

The one-hour program will also air simultaneously on more than 30 participating media platforms across the U.S. This year's telecast, originating from Nashville's The Pinnacle, promises an evening of music, star power, and heartfelt stories spotlighting progress in cancer research.

The broadcast will feature performances and appearances from prominent artists and celebrities, while highlighting breakthroughs made possible through SU2C-funded research. Survivors will share personal stories that reflect the real-world impact of advances in early detection and treatment, underscoring the importance of continued public support.

"iHeartCountry radio stations have a long history of supporting pediatric cancer initiatives, and this collaboration is a natural extension of our commitment to invest in research that will lead to a cure," said Rod Phillips, Executive Vice President of Programming at iHeartCountry. "We look forward to using our unparalleled reach to amplify the vital mission of Stand Up To Cancer by uniting communities across America in the fight against cancer."

Since its founding, SU2C has brought together more than 3,100 researchers from over 210 institutions in 16 countries to foster collaborative innovation in the field. Over the past 17 years, this global effort has contributed to saving tens of thousands of lives and continues to drive momentum in the fight against cancer.
