TuneIn has announced a new partnership with BYD Auto Co., LTD, the world's largest manufacturer of new energy vehicles, to integrate its catalog of live radio stations, podcasts, and audiobooks directly into BYD's lineup of vehicles.

The collaboration expands TuneIn's footprint in the automotive space, giving drivers worldwide seamless access to audio content through BYD's Intelligent Cockpit System. The in-car interface, which features the world's first rotatable PAD, allows control via touch or voice commands, enabling hands-free listening for both drivers and passengers.

"We are bringing innovative entertainment experiences to more drivers worldwide through our partnership with BYD," said TuneIn CEO Rich Stern. "Our integration with BYD, the world's largest manufacturer of electric vehicles, represents a major milestone in our mission to make high-quality audio content easily accessible wherever our listeners may be."

As part of the rollout, TuneIn will provide BYD drivers with extended free trials: a 30-day trial for new monthly subscribers and a 90-day trial for annual subscribers. Existing TuneIn Premium customers who drive BYD vehicles will also benefit, with access to ad-free news, commercial-free music, and premium sports coverage in supported regions.
