Carter Media and St. James Church KC will hold their first "Loads of Love" Laundry Products Drive on Saturday, September 20 from noon-4pm CT at the Walmart Supercenter in Raytown, MO. The event will collect new laundry supplies - detergent (liquid, pods or powder), fabric softener, bleach, stain remover and laundry bags - to support school-based laundry programs serving Kansas City-area students.

"Laundry programs at schools provide vital support, especially for at-risk students, by improving attendance and academic performance through increased confidence and access to clean clothing," said Carter Media Operations Manager Myron D. Fears, Sr. "Carter Media cares about the well-being of our schools, families and students."

"We must focus on our Father's business of caring for those in need," added Dr. Yvette Richards, Director of Community Connection & Mission at St. James Church KC, citing Matthew 25:45. "Here at St. James Church KC, we strive to connect people with God in practical ways, and Loads of Love is one way to show God's love for others."

Members of St. James Church KC, along with air personalities from Gospel 1590/106.1 FM, Hot 103 Jamz and RNB 106.9 FM/103.3 HD2, and contributing partners will be on-site to collect donations.
