Broadcast industry leaders Joel Denver and Mike Agovino have teamed up to launch SonicTrek.ai, a new AI-driven audio syndication company designed to deliver hyper-localized, 24/7 content for broadcasters and brands around the world. The company is debuting with four fully automated formats created in collaboration with Futuri Media, integrating Futuri's AI technology with professional voice talent, curated playlists, and adaptive writing tools.
"SonicTrek.ai is about creating authentic, localized experiences that resonate with listeners while leveraging the power of AI to deliver unmatched creativity and efficiency," said Joel Denver, Partner and CEO. "We're not just building brands; we're crafting immersive audio worlds."
The company's flagship brand, Phoebe.fm - Curiously Alternative, features a female-leaning alternative format shaped by veteran programmer Dennis Constantine and hosted by "Phoebe," a virtual talent with human-like presence and delivery. Three additional 24/7 AI-driven formats launch alongside it:
- MyCountry.fm, a modern Country station curated by Charlie Cook, blending music and local storytelling.
- Starship.fm, a Classic Rock reimagination led by Lee Abrams, offering cinematic production and deep tracks.
- CoolClassics.ai, a fresh take on Classic Hits developed by Brian Kelly.
Mike Agovino, Partner and CRO, described SonicTrek's approach as "the fulfillment of the long-failed promise of localized syndication and conversational AI."
Futuri CEO Daniel Anstandig added that the collaboration will allow every broadcaster to sound as live and current as social media feeds: "Now, Futuri and SonicTrek are making that possible in a plug-and-play format for broadcasters."
Listeners can experience the new AI-infused sound at sonictrek.ai.
