96.9 BOB FM Pittsburgh Marks 20th Anniversary

Pittsburgh's WRRK (96.9 BOB FM) is celebrating its 20th anniversary on November 1, marking two decades of its "We Play Anything" format that has become a staple in the Steel City's radio landscape. Since its 2005 debut, BOB FM has built a devoted following by breaking away from traditional programming formats and offering an eclectic mix of music -- from Queen and Springsteen to Outkast and Sia.

To commemorate the milestone, BOB FM is planning a series of anniversary celebrations, including the release of a specialty beer, limited-edition birthday merchandise, and a major event for listeners.

Gregg Frischling, Vice President and General Manager of 96.9 BOB FM, expressed gratitude for the station's loyal audience. "From all of us at 96.9 BOB FM, we want to say thank you, Pittsburgh, for your support, energy and love of the music BOB FM plays. There is so much more to come," he said.
