iHeartMedia and Charlamagne Tha God's The Black Effect Podcast Network are expanding into the Kids & Family genre with "Adventures of Curiosity Cove," an imaginative new podcast created and produced by actress and producer Tika Sumpter. The series is available now on the iHeartRadio app and across all major podcast platforms.
Blending storytelling, curiosity, and lessons in social and emotional intelligence, "Adventures of Curiosity Cove" follows "Ella the Curious" as she embarks on imaginative adventures - exploring the mysteries of space, learning about kindness, and discovering the power of being "the light." The show was inspired by Sumpter's children's book "I Got It From My Mama," which celebrates the bond between mother and child.
"We're excited to launch this children's program centered on social and emotional learning," said Dollie S. Bishop, President of The Black Effect Podcast Network. "Our kids deserve to see themselves reflected in stories that celebrate their culture while helping them understand and express their feelings in a healthy way."
Sumpter added, "As the first kids' podcast under The Black Effect banner, Nick and I wanted to create a space where children can explore big feelings through fun, imaginative stories. Our goal has always been to spark curiosity, emotional intelligence, and connection between kids and the grown-ups who love them."
"Adventures of Curiosity Cove" was created and produced by Tika Sumpter and Nick Muscarella and is distributed by iHeartPodcasts.
