Cumulus Media has launched the latest edition of its multi-part audio series "Your Music Plus," this time showcasing the new Country duet "After Midnight" from hitmaker Nate Smith and singer/songwriter Tyler Hubbard, the former Florida Georgia Line member now charting as a solo artist.
The series begins an eight-week run today across Cumulus Media Country stations nationwide. Your Music Plus offers listeners an in-depth, behind-the-scenes look at the making of the song, with Smith sharing personal reflections, creative insights, and stories from the recording process.
Greg Frey, VP of Music Partnerships for Cumulus Media, said the collaboration with Sony Music Nashville brings an energetic new track to the forefront. "After Midnight is an instant party classic and a lock for 'Event Song of the Year' nominations at next year's awards show," he said. "Featuring exclusive behind-the-scenes audio from both Nate and Tyler, this YMP is XL for sure."
Sony Music Nashville's Mallory Michaels, VP of Radio Marketing & Promotions, praised the partnership and momentum behind Smith's latest release. "This song packs a bonfire party punch with all the good vibes," she said, noting Smith's recent streak of four consecutive chart-toppers, including the 3x Platinum "Whiskey On You," the 10-week No. 1 "World On Fire," and "Bulletproof."
Your Music Plus amplifies new music through artist commentary across Country, AC, CHR, Rock, Hot AC, Urban, and Alternative formats. Each installment features artists discussing their songs' personal meaning, inspiration, and place within their careers.
