Big Radio Janesville, WI's annual Holiday Charity Auction set a new record this year, raising $20,575 to support local families and community services. The online event, which ran December 1-8, drew nearly 300 bids across 35 donated items, reflecting strong engagement from listeners and area businesses.
Proceeds from the auction benefit two local organizations -- E.C.H.O. and The Salvation Army -- ensuring all funds remain in the community to bolster essential holiday-season support.
"This event shows the incredible power of local radio and its advertisers to come together and make a real difference," said Big Radio's Ben Thompson. "Every bid, every donated item, and every sponsor proves that when local businesses and listeners unite, amazing things happen."
The annual fundraiser continues to highlight the role local radio plays in connecting communities and driving meaningful charitable impact.
