Denver-based Kroenke Sports & Entertainment (KSE) has named Kathleen Charapata Executive Vice President, Distribution and Deputy General Counsel for KSE Media Ventures. The subsidiary includes Altitude Sports and Entertainment, KSE Radio, SkyCam, Outdoor Sportsman Group, the Kroenke Network Operations Center and KSE Broadcast Services Group.

In the expanded role, Charapata will lead the company's content distribution and affiliate marketing efforts and oversee negotiations of content agreements across all distribution platforms. The appointment broadens her responsibilities beyond her previous position as Deputy General Counsel.

Charapata joined KSE in 2024 following three years as Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel at Great American Media. She has also held legal and leadership roles focused on content acquisition and distribution at Crown Media Family Networks (now Hallmark Media), Charter Communications and DISH Network.

Steve Smith, President of KSE Media Ventures, said Charapata has played a key role in shaping the company's content strategy and navigating changes in the media landscape. He noted that her experience working on both sides of major media distribution agreements brings valuable perspective to the organization.

Charapata will report to Smith and KSE Executive Vice President and General Counsel Keirstin Beck.
