Throwback Brands, in partnership with Skyview Networks, has named Kaylin Mozdzen of WTCB-FM (B106.7) in Columbia, SC, the grand prize winner of its 2026 Throwback Brands Boot Camp Experience scholarship. The fully funded scholarship will send Mozdzen to this year's Morning Show Boot Camp (MSBC) in Cleveland, giving her the opportunity to learn from veteran broadcasters while networking with programmers, on-air talent and content creators from across the country.

Now in its second year, the scholarship was created to help a deserving radio professional, student or content creator who has never attended Morning Show Boot Camp. Applicants submitted their career stories, airchecks and essays explaining why they wanted to attend before finalists were reviewed by the Throwback Brands team.

"Kaylin's drive is one of a kind. From the moment we read her application, it was clear: she has the vision, passion and energy to help drive our business forward," said Throwback Brands CEO and Founder Tony Lorino, who also hosts Throwback Nation Radio. "With this opportunity, I'm hopeful she can bring this enthusiasm back to Columbia and B106.7 and continue to make top-notch content and contributions to her station and community."

Mozdzen said attending Morning Show Boot Camp has been a long-standing goal. "I've always believed that growth comes from learning and challenging yourself regularly, so Morning Show Boot Camp has been on my list for years," she said. "A huge thank you to the team at Throwback Brands for believing in me and making this experience possible. I can't wait to learn, connect with some of the best in the industry and bring those ideas back to my audience."

Mozdzen succeeds inaugural scholarship recipient Tonya Haze of WGLX-FM, who attended last year's event. She will join Lorino and fellow Throwback Brands personalities Chris Cruise and Joe Cortese at this year's conference.
