Yavapai Broadcasting has announced the return of radio veteran Doug Groff as Production Director for the company's stations across Northern Arizona. Groff brings nearly 30 years of broadcasting experience to the position, overseeing the group's production and creative services operations.
Groff previously worked for Yavapai Broadcasting as Music Director and morning host at then-AAA KVNA-FM (100.1) in Flagstaff. He rejoins the company after four years with Zimmer Communications in Columbia, MO, where he served as Creative/Production Director and hosted evenings on Classic Rock KCMQ-FM (96.7).
His career also includes serving as Operations Manager for WXOF-FM and WXCV-FM in Homosassa, FL, Production Director for Townsquare Media in Lubbock, TX, and morning co-host at Country WWJO-FM (98.1) in St. Cloud, MN.
"We're excited to welcome Doug back to Yavapai Broadcasting," said General Manager Mike Jensen. "With the tremendous growth we're experiencing across our radio group, we're especially pleased to have someone with Doug's experience, creativity and leadership heading up our Production and Creative Services Department."
Jensen added that Groff's extensive background in radio production and programming will benefit the company's stations, advertisers and staff as Yavapai Broadcasting continues to expand its operations across Northern Arizona.
