Border Media Ousts Air Staffs of Two Austin Outlets


Border Media Partners/Austin has turned loose its entire air staff and Director of Programming Josh Villa from Regional Mexican KHHL-FM (98.9 La Ley) and Spanish CHR simulcast KXXS-FM (Digital 92.5) and KXBT-FM (Digital 104.9). The moves were made ahead of rumored format flips. Speculation is that KXBT will flip to Sports using ESPN Radio, while KKHL is expected to flip to Oldies.
